Insurance for Schengen visa area - What is covered by the insurance? ( BUPA Group )

5.1 The insurance shall cover expenses incurred in the insurance period in accordance with the applicable benefits listed on page 1. The insurance cover shall not exceed the insurance amount of USD 75,000 / EUR 75,000 per trip.

5.2 Fellow-travelling children under the age of 18 who are covered by the insurance shall be entitled to compensation for reasonable travel expenses if the parents or all the fellow-travellers are medically evacuated in connection with a transport covered by the insurance.

Choice of cover

You can choose between 2 different options, depending on how long you are staying in the Schengen area:

Schengen visa area - trips up to a maximum of 1 month

Schengen visa area - trips up to 3 months (within a 6 month period)

The benefits are the same for both options, only the period of cover and the premiums vary (click here to see the table of benefits).

Travel insurance for business trips (for all employees including board members, travelling spouses, children and guests for a combined company total of over 200 days a year)

Travel insurance for individuals travelling for pleasure, studies or business trips
